A Saudi, Shehri was a former college student who dropped out after failing his courses. On September 11, 2001, Shehri boarded United Airlines Flight 175 and assisted in its hijacking so that it could be flown into the South Tower of the World Trade Center. ==Aliases== Shehri was also known under the aliases "Mohammed al-Shehhi" and "Mohald al-Shehri".
